Same as every other plot. Even if he killed them the people backing them would find out either through in world lore or plot armour.

Okay, mc is being a pussy here. Firstly how would they even know who killed them? Secondly releasing him would bring more trouble not to mention he admitted in front of mc that he will come back for revenge 😑 I know donghua mcs can be stupid but this is just beyond anything else.
